Chubb’s Digital Agile Initiative

Chubb is looking for agile employees to deliver on Chubb’s digital objectives in product, service and capabilities. These roles will be located in Jersey City, NJ and will require co-location to establish a collaborative and open space workplace ripe for innovation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The UX Designer is responsible for partnering with members of the agile team to define user stories, and provide functional, innovative user centric design solutions.

Research and understand the various complexities of our user needs as they relate to our digital experience.  Create interactive prototypes, wireframes & visualizations as needed to communicate experience design and intent for new ideas.

The designer must have good facilitation skills to run workshops and meetings, in order to gain agreement on the user experience solution being design.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 5+  years of experience designing web applications.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating past design experiences and deliverables is a must
  • Experience with an iterative design process, and a recognition that the first design is rarely the final design.
  • Experience planning and conducting usability tests with real end users.
  • Illustrating design ideas using wireframes, storyboards, process flows, prototypes and sitemaps
  • A proven track record of graphic design/web technologies and wire framing tools such as Axure RP and Balsamiq
  • An excellent grasp of design programs and tools, Sketch App specifically
  • Insurance or financial services and digital transformation domain knowledge is a plus
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • You must have good facilitation skills to run workshops and meetings, to gain agreement on requirements and issues
  • Help maintain existing UX/UI style guides. Test your ideas/designs for usability issues ahead of development.
