Description

As part of the Operational Effectiveness team within Global Operations Services, the Sr. Operations Analyst will report to the Digital Portfolio Leader and directly participate in and manage oversight of multiple projects.  The Operational Effectiveness team is responsible for the execution of Chubb’s high priority strategic initiatives including Digital Transformation, Intelligent Automation (including Robotic Process Automation), Acquisition Integration, and Operational KPIs & Metrics.  The Sr. Analyst will work with business unit, IT, and operations stakeholders with the objective to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Chubb’s operations globally.  This individual will support the ongoing evolution of strategic programs, manage executive reporting on critical milestones, support planning and strategy activities, provide issue identification and resolution, analyze data and provide improvement recommendations.   Additionally, this individual will be expected to thrive working on cross regional, cross functional and multiple stakeholder projects independently with little to no direct management oversight.  Success requires a combination of strong analytical skills, written and verbal communication, technical competency, and the ability to lead and influence across regional and functional groups.


Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for production of monthly program level reporting managing deadlines and follow ups as required for timely delivery
  • Ensure that program status, issues, and critical milestone completion are communicated to project team, stakeholders, sponsors, steering committees and all levels of management and documented appropriately
  • Work with senior management in the planning, development and execution of short and long range goals
  • Interface with executive leaders, business partners and stakeholders to drive and execute change management
  • Conduct complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of program performance.  Summarize findings, draw appropriate conclusions, and effectively communicate results to team
  • Organize data and project artifacts on shared sites for efficient access and utilization
  • Develop executive presentations for senior operations leaders
  • Keep abreast of industry, market and company trends to understand key concerns and opportunities for each line of business; tailors analysis and synthesis around these topics

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical discipline
  • Generally requires 3-5 years of related experience
  • Experience in the insurance industry or relevant consulting experience is preferred
  • PMP Certification Preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving, solution development, continuous improvement, and relationship building
  • Experience participating in large-scale change projects with aggressive timelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – work with sets of data to extract meaningful information
  • Proven cross-functional, cross-regional and/or cross-organizational relationship-building skills
  • Strong consultative and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups
  • Ability to work independently; comfortable with loosely defined tasks or ambiguity
  • Results oriented and adaptable
  • Very strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
