Major Duties and Responsibilities:


•         Assist with claim investigation by ordering police reports, requesting dispatch and following up on service delays and requested information not received.

•         Sort, index and distribute incoming mail for adjusters within your line of business.

•         Request and obtain policy information on losses as requested by adjusters.

•         Process claim assignments within OSD service goals.

•         Communicate and work effectively with customers to ensure the level of service provided meets or exceeds expectations.

•         Process letters, apply applicable supports and mail according to established workflow.

•         Process reserves and loss/expense payments as directed by adjuster. 

•         Process cash receipts within the authorized guidelines.

•         Transfer claims to core offices within OSD service goals.

•         Clear POLUPS within OSD service goals.

•         Manage open and closed filing for adjusters.

•         Answer incoming status calls from customers and branch team members.

•         Support an environment of continuous improvement by offering ideas and suggestions to improve service and help develop more efficient workflows.

•         Identify, escalate and follow up on system issues to Chubb Helpdesk and supervisor.

•         Demonstrate proficiency in OSD workflows including an understanding of multiple lines of business (i.e.: dispatch, recovery, mailroom and/or fax FNOL input).

•         Demonstrate technical knowledge of loss systems including LINES, CLMTRAK, ClaimVision and CFS such that you are recognized as a resource to peers and customers.

•         Manage time effectively by organizing and prioritizing duties. 

•         Demonstrate the ability to complete assigned projects with moderate supervision. 

•         Assist adjuster and vendor manager in resolving billing issues (i.e.: Safelite, Corvel, CEI and appraisal companies). 

•         Report third party FNOLS as requested by adjuster. 


•         Strong PC navigation skills including a working knowledge of Windows operating system, Lotus Notes and the Internet.

•         Strong knowledge of IMS/CV transactions: CLNS, CLMTRAK, NAME, Claim W/S, iClaims. 

•         Demonstrate ability to meet or exceed established performance standards.

•         Excellent verbal and written skills.

•         Work effectively in a team environment.

•         Demonstrate ability to learn all job functions and workflows.

•         Demonstrate ability to prioritize and make decision accordingly.
