Chubb is the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer.  With operations in 54 countries, Chubb provides commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance and life insurance to a diverse group of clients.
Currently, Chubb is seeking a Property Estimate Reviewer, located at one of our three Service Centers (WCSC, ECSC, and CCSC.)

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide a critical, technical analysis of property claims estimates that have been submitted for review.
  • Maintain an active production schedule to ensure that assignment progression and dispositions are within departmental guidelines.
  • Maintain an active diary of estimate review assignments and tasks required to complete them.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of customer requested training as needed.
  • Adhere to all statutory regulations and unfair claims practices acts.
  • Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers.
  • Be responsible for acceptable performance results including productivity, cycle time and accuracy.
  • Foster and develop relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Deliver agreed upon service to clients in a timely and professional manner.

Competencies required for position:
  • Proven technical knowledge in the development, creation and analysis of property claims estimates.
  • Advanced level of familiarity with the Xactimate estimating program or similar.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of personal and commercial insurance contracts.
  • A functional understanding of moisture mitigation software and their reports.
  • An ability to work with in a collaborative fashion with a wide spectrum of people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to accept new challenges in a continually changing business environment.
  • Aptitude to share and impart knowledge and work within a team environment.
  • Must be both service and results driven, highly analytical and detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business related software.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' field experience in the direct handling of property claims.
