Job Description

This position will support the North America infrastructure used by the Release Management team and Websphere Admin team. Daily activities include, managing system access requests, maintaining documentation, infrastructure monitoring associated with the platforms and technologies, tuning, patching, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage user access to Buildforge, UrbanCode, and CA Introscope
  • Maintain platform documentation
  • Maintaining software versions and patch levels
  • Monitoring of key components
  • Support Release Management and Websphere Admin teams’  efforts
  • Participate in 24x7 support of the North America infrastructure
  • Advance technology improvements as it relates to code/release management
  • Assist with migration of Buildforge processes/projects over to UrbanCode
  • Complete the implementation and migration of CA Introscope v9 to CA APM v10.5 for our Websphere environment
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
  • Experience working with Windows Server and Unix hosted systems
  • Self-starter that needs little administrative guidance 
  • Energetic and eager to find solutions to complex problems
  • Strong ability to collaborate with teams consisting of many technical disciplines
  • Mid-level knowledge of UNIX, Databases, monitoring, general security
  • Experience with platform implementations leveraged across an enterprise
  • Monitoring and alerting concepts
  • Experience supporting enterprise solutions spanning many technical stacks
  • Ability to learn new technologies 
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge / Technical Ability in:
    • PowerShell
    • Unix scripting
  • Experience with managing small to medium projects including needs analysis, planning, testing, and implementation
