This position will support multiple Senior HR Business Partners in providing services to business and functional units. The selected individual will be charged with supporting and implementing initiatives such as compensation, benefits, employee relations, talent management and development, retention, performance management process, new-hire/on-boarding functions, immigration and related administration.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:           
  • Reports to a Senior HR Business Partner and provides support two HR Business Partners and multiple business and functional units. 
  • Establishes effective client relationships with assigned business managers and staff .
  • Collaborates with HR Partners and business unit management to implement HR programs in support of business objectives. 
  • Provides guidance to management on HR related issues and recommends appropriate actions based upon business needs and strategies in consultation with HR Business Partner and in consultation and collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence. 
  • Provides HR support to employees of assigned units on a host of HR related topics and issues.
  • Increase the effectiveness of HR related programs by training and counseling supervisors and managers. 
  • Provides input into development of HR strategies and policies. 
  • Leverages excel for reporting and tracking in order to provide data analysis and identify trends.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • College degree in human resources or related field. 
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in human resources roles. 
  • Experience in labor intensive, knowledge-based organizations. 
  • High level of multitasking skills and ability to perform and deliver under pressure. 
  • General knowledge of functional areas within HR including compensation, benefits, recruiting, employment, and employee development. Talent management experience a plus.  
  • Understanding of HR policies, procedures and information systems. 
  • General understanding of employment law and employee relations.  
  • General awareness of HR trends and best practices particularly linking HR programs to business strategy. 
  • Ability to grasp multiple business strategies across several business lines. 
  • High level of professionalism and ethics. 
  • Discipline, organization and time management skills. 
  • Professional presence and collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in excel and a demonstrated ability to manipulate data and present analysis in an organized and informative way.
  • Ability to travel as needed; up to once or twice monthly.
