Job Description

Global Operations Compliance Analyst

The Compliance Analyst will report directly to the VP, Global Compliance in Global Operations Shared Services.    This role will be engaged with stakeholders across the business and ensure Compliance standards are upheld, with KPIs being established and tracked.  Position will be based in Whitehouse or Philadelphia. 
Key areas of responsibilities include:
Core IT Compliance Domains:
Governance & Oversight
      • Provide senior management with timely report on current state of controls, risks, audit findings, and remediation in any Operations areas
      • Provide oversight and coordination of control executions to ensure Ops policies and procedures are being followed.
      • Coordinate quarterly SOX attestation by Ops Management at various levels from Control Activity Owners (CAOs) to the Chief Information Officers (CIOs) to ensure accountability and ownership of controls
Ops Control Monitoring and Testing
      • Remediation monitoring and tracking to ensure issues and risks are mitigated timely.
      • Collaborate with Ops and other units and auditors to validate and verify audit findings and/or deficiencies
      • Facilitate audit scoping, planning, pre-audit risk assessment and process walkthroughs during the audit process
Communication
      • Serve as the central communication point between the auditors, management and key stakeholders.
      • Provide timely status reporting on current audit statuses, issues, control deficiencies, remediation tracking, and health of the over IT controls environment to all levels of management.
 
Special projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Intelligent Automation area to develop control guidance for new solutions
  • Ensure all new solutions address all relevant control considerations
  • Identify opportunities for control improvement – automation, tools, etc.
  • Develop best practice guidance for future Intelligent Automation efforts
  • Perform compliance activities that support control executions
  • Perform quality control analysis over control executions performed by control activity owners
  • Maintain control narratives and information within the SOX Database to ensure processes and procedures are current
 
  • 5-10 years of related experience
  • BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of Chubb’s operating environments globally
  • Claims, underwriting experience a plus, but not required
  • Collaborative with the ability to influence without authority and have impact
  • Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
  • High attention to detail

  • Demonstrates sense of urgency and a high-degree of initiative and professional judgment
  • Proven solution development experience
  • CISA certification a plus
Up to 10% travel (ability to travel once week
