Overview

The position will report to the Financial Systems Implementation Lead and will be a pivotal team member in supporting the Chubb TM1 Center of Excellence. Overall responsibilities will include involvement in new development initiatives and ongoing support of existing platforms. Candidate will engage with end users and external developers to deliver and support Chubb’s enterprise wide initiative to expand the financial systems footprint across the organization.

  • Strategic thinker who engages with the business to understand needs and creatively offers best practice technical and operational solutions
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting and finance principles, ideally within insurance industry
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure timeliness of delivery
  • Experience in implementing change management procedures to ensure user adoption
  • Successful track record collaborating with business owners, SMEs, and end users to ensure delivered solutions optimally support business needs
  • Experience participating in enterprise wide projects and working with diverse teams across multiple locations


Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience; minor in finance and business management is a plus
  • Demonstrate high degree of techno-functional competency in developing system solutions
Required Technical Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of TM1 or similar OLAP technology, coding for rules, and building processes is desired but not required
  • Experience in writing SQL code to connect to data sources
  • Strong Excel Skills
