DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly/annual financial reports, on a managed, GAAP and Statutory (Solvency II equivalent) basis for a large, Bermuda-based reinsurance company
  • Analyze financial data, explain results and create financial reports for senior management
  • Support reinsurance licensing certifications for AIOIC Group of Companies
  • Develop quarterly/annual business Plans for AIOIC Group of Companies
  • Establish and maintain a strong network of Chubb business contacts
  • General Ledger accounting for a variable interest entity, preparing all journal entries and wire transfer requests
  • Work with the CFO for AIOIC Group of Companies to support the completion of any ad-hoc requests


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong understanding of Financial Statements required (our team is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting/analysis related to the AIOIC Group of Companies)
  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience required
  • Ability to navigate complex financial data in a fast-paced, often changing environment
  • Insurance/Reinsurance industry knowledge/experience is a plus
  • Strong matrix management (ability to manage/influence people from outside departments) and proven problem solving skills
  • Solid computer skills, with a desire and ability to learn new software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
