Position Summary
This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to effectively manage the Chubb Overseas General (COG) Agency business (P&C, A&H and IPL) across a footprint of 14 target countries in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Far East and Latin America.  Areas of focus will include supporting the execution of an existing target operating model to improve agency segmentation, training, incentives, recruitment, product development, technology, service and internal management reporting. 
Job Functions
  •  Responsible for execution of the COG agency management strategy; COG includes all international divisions – Accident & Health (A&D), International Personal Lines (IPL) and Property & Casualty (P&C). 
  • Develop, execute and maintain international agency value proposition offering for Chubb’s top tier producers (i.e. Cornerstone)
  • Directly manage an Agency Training Manager and shared IPL/Agency Operations Manager while continuing to build out target agency org structure at a COG, region and country level
  • Roll out agency consulting service program in target markets through in-country workshops and working sessions while gaining buy-in from local and regional management on headcounts for dedicated roles
  • Roll out agency distribution review process to drive global compliance of agency operations methods to ensure operational and regulatory compliance in each market
  • Lead and continue the development of a financial reporting P&L across all COG to report agency-sourced financials
  • Lead the development of building an agency sales metrics reporting dashboard across all COG for management reporting oversight
  • Lead global agency incentives to drive production and recognition (e.g. Empire Elite)
  • Lead new markets research to determine potential market entry approach in newly identified target agent countries
  • Drive top line and bottom line financial performance through day to day monitoring, operational improvements and new country development across the agency function
  • Leverage and translate prior superior experience and success in other roles at other large and respected carriers and/or consulting firms, to Chubb’s business; familiarity with best practices.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Chubb’s operations and ensure we have the proper tools to operate effectively.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with respected industry leading carrier with Agency-related experience, with focus on product management, operations, incentives and training
  • Underwriting expertise specific to a property and casualty line of business required
  • An internationally-minded individual that is able to work across multiple cultures, countries and management matrices to build creative solutions while gaining consensus for new ideas
  • A self-motivated individual who is able to make appropriate decisions work independently and
  • Ability to plan, organize, direct and implement Agency goals and objectives, and to stimulate creativity and change when required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to interact effectively internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to perform financial and business planning analyses
  • Track record of high achievement in a team-based and results-oriented culture
  • Proven track record in relationship-building and driving change in a matrix work environment
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with thorough attention to detail
  • Deep experience using PowerPoint (including strong storyboarding skills) and Excel
  • Excellent planning, documentation and problem solving skills
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the year
  • Bachelor’s Degree in risk management or analytical discipline
