Job Description



The Global Actuarial and Risk Systems team is a small, agile group of technology enthusiasts.  We operate independently of core Information Technology teams and we’re tasked with solving the complex data needs of both US and International reserving actuaries. We are responsible for collating data from several disparate systems and platforms and providing analytic solutions for the world's largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer. Our systems are the foundation for the loss triangles which are reported externally and which ensure we have the capital to pay future claims.

This position is for a full-time Data Engineer in either our Philadelphia, PA or Whitehouse Station, NJ office.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON: 

  • Help design and implement our new claim data warehouse in Microsoft SQL Server 2017
  • Write ETL processes to gather and conform data to actuarial specifications.
  • Architect solutions so end users can analyze the resulting billion row tables quickly and easily
