Position Summary

This is an entry level Developer position within the Claims technology area.  The role will design and develop software, troubleshoot issues, and assist in the delivery of key projects in support of Chubb's claims processing systems.  The person selected will learn .Net programming, configuration of strategic packaged software, data analysis, business process and quality assurance.  The intent is to develop a junior developer to become a well-rounded senior system developer.

 
Responsibilities

The Junior Developer position requires a hard working person who has an ability to think analytically and within a decentralized team.

Data Analyst Essential Job Functions
  • Designs, develops and implements application systems.
  • Responsible for various aspects of the designs and coding of programs, creation of test transactions and writing of documentation that describes installation and operating procedures.
  • Writes new systems, designs and codes programs and creates test transactions. Monitors the status of infrastructure resources and performs testing, documents testing results and analyzes infrastructure facilities.
  • Analyzes organizational needs and goals to develop and implement application systems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications 
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Education, Communication or Insurance
  • Highly organized, possessing strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent written/verbal skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word required. 
  • Ability to interact well with various levels of the organization
  • Ability to quickly learn project processes and their incorporation into the tools utilized.
  • Orientation toward details
  • Works successfully in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change
