Position Summary:

It’s an exciting time to be a part of the Claims Data Warehouse (CDW) team.   CDW is set to be at the core of processing all claim data for CHUBB.  Claim Data is currently sent to CDW from 5 different claim systems which is then processed, transformed and sent to downstream systems and applications for Financial Reporting, Billing, Regulatory Reporting, Compliance, Litigation, Medicare and more.

2019 is staged to be momentous and challenging year as the CDW team prepares to increase the intake volume of claim data to include 2 more claim systems.  In doing so, this will allow CDW to be even more integral to CHUBBs overall business.    

This opening will provide exposure to multiple systems, claim lifecycle, regulatory compliance and financial balancing just to name a few.  Responsibilities will include analyze data quality issues as they arise in CDW, learning the table structures of CDW, and gaining business knowledge of claims and premiums that will lead to resolving issues.  Details of the job will also utilize technical skills to query data in various systems when problem solving.  All this will provide valuable contributions to the team and the business areas supported by the team. 

  • Analyze and identify the root cause of data quality issues (rollbacks) which prevents claim data from entering CDW.
  • Work with team to propose and resolve the root cause of the data quality issues.
  • Conduct post-implementation validation to ensure claim data has successfully updated in CDW
  • Support Client Server applications and perform minor enhancement initiatives.
  • Acquire and maintain working knowledge of system functionality, databases and data for supported applications and dependent systems.
  • Create and distribute weekly rollback reports and maintain metrics on progress
  • Participate in Agile meetings to gain understanding of the process and priorities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Claims IT counterparts
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining our SOX Audit folder
  • Review test plans and results – Documents of Understanding (DoU)

 Position Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, Information Management or a related field.
