The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity in our North America Human Resources team that supports multiple business units.  This role will provide the opportunity to develop business acumen, critical thinking and execution capabilities, employee relations skills and the ability to facilitate and influence change in a highly successful business and a fast paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the HR business partners to deliver on HR objectives related to Talent Acquisition, Development, Retention and Engagement.  These generalists activities will include involvement in annual processes such as compensation planning and performance reviews, support of on-boarding and early career development and delivery of other development programs as well as involvement in employee relations matters.
  • Engage in diversity and inclusion projects and initiatives to support the development of Chubb’s culture.
  • Collaborate with HR professionals and other stakeholders in supporting the evolution to a more digitized operating model for HR and the business
  • Establish effective client relationships with line of business managers and staff within the assigned units.

Qualifications

•         Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management  

•         Excellent communication skills

•         Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

•         Balanced and timely decision making skills

•         Interest in Human Resources as a profession

•         Ability for evaluating and interpreting information

•         Strong work ethic

•         Proficiency in MS Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel

•         Ability to manage a high volume workload and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a focus on results

•         Ability to quickly build relationships and establish trust with leaders, employees and colleagues

•         A high degree of personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality

•         Collaborative workstyle; positive can-do attitude
