Summary and Scope


Responsible for business development and management of major client relationships. This position includes oversight of financial impacts for Chubb and its clients, strategic planning, administration, and marketing operations of Chubb as they relate to programs design. Directly responsible for business expansion of Chubb Digital services and products.


Manage the administration, analytics and budget for developing new business for Chubb Digital

Lead initiatives to expand the suite of Chubb Digital Small Commercial Insurance programs to Financial Institutions, Credit Grantors, Retailers, Service Processors, Business Associations, Internet B2B service sites, and other approved prospects.

Develop cross-marketed programs for products through primary sales files from initial marketing efforts.

Build and manage internal and external relationships with customers, stakeholders and prospects.

Ensure that the management of Chubb Digital initiatives and the respective client relationships meet proper governance requirements and comply with applicable laws and bylaws.   In addition, this role will conduct business effectively and efficiently; ensure accountability for performance, and report appropriate information with accuracy and transparency.

Individual attends internal and external meetings, proposes policies and practices, may sit on assigned committees, monitors the performance of Account Management, submits various reports to senior management as directed; and performs other duties as the need arises and/or as defined by Chubb Digital senior management. 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Direct communication with clients and prospects to promote and expand Chubb Digital services, products, and client channels.
  • Prepare, oversee, and review the production process for sales assets and product marketing content.
  • Interacts directly with agencies and partners to provide Chubb Digital product introduction, service offers, process, negotiations, and final review for development efforts.
  • Create and implement plans for channel and product expansion to increase sales.
  • Present new program options and existing program results to existing clients in cooperation with senior managers. Educates and trains all internal groups to assist in various projects to expand Chubb Digital.
  • Engages in appropriate travel to clients and vendors to communicate goals on marketing projects.
  • Prepares and engages in strategic planning and tactical execution of all business development with assigned prospects, clients, and partners.
  • Improves workflow with process assessment and recommendations for improved efficiency in all departments.
  • Works with finance to develop client and internal reporting and analytics, internal tracking, cash and disbursement, collections and modeling reports and systems.
  • Works with external vendors and internal data teams to improve reporting and provide seamless conversion of corporate data to formats that can be used by Chubb Digital to effectively manage programs.
  •  Maintain detailed records of ‘book of business’ and move relationships through a relationship cycle to expand into multiple product lines. 

Requirements, Skills & Attributes:

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree; preferably in Business/Marketing and a minimum of 15 years executive experience. A Masters would be highly desirable.
  • A high level of organization, influence, and collaboration among diverse business groups with different priorities.
  • This position is a relationship building position.  A high level of internal and external service and contact is expected, including engagement with senior management and mid-management levels.
  • The individual should have experience working at the executive level; be professional and organized to assure timely contact whenever necessary.  
  • This position requires experience forming close personal relationships with employees, clients and prospects of Chubb Digital. He/she should be comfortable using the phone, in addition to making personal visits.    
  • Leverage technology to manage the business development and client engagement process.
  • Experience preparing presentations to executive levels; effective follow-up  on proposals addressing prospect needs.
  • Must be a self-starter with good self-management skills and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
