AVP, North America Marketing and Communications

The AVP, North America Marketing & Communications will collaborate with the company’s executive leadership to develop and execute the integrated communications plan for Chubb Major Accounts and Chubb Bermuda.   This role will implement the internal and external marketing communications in alignment with strategic business objectives. This position will report to the Vice President, North America Marketing Communications, Major Accounts.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership and program management skills and a solid grounding in the standard Property and Casualty product areas.  This role supports Chubb’s Major Accounts division, which serves large and multinational customers based in the United States and Canada in addition to Chubb Bermuda. 
  • Collaborate and execute strategic plans to support Chubb Major Accounts and Chubb Bermuda business in achieving goals of: 
    •  Attracting, retaining, and growing profitable business
    • Establishing a leadership presence in the marketplace 
  • Represent the interests of the businesses in creating integrated marketing campaigns with centralized resources, including media/public relations, advertising, internal communications, events, digital marketing, surveys, video production and executive communications.
  • Continuously measure effectiveness of the integrated campaigns, reports the results to the business, and adjusts as needed.
       Additionally, the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications for Major Accounts &
Bermuda will:
  • Identify and manage marketing priorities and stakeholder expectations in a matrixed organization
  • Support development and execution of annual and strategic objective campaign marketing/communications plans, goals, and budgets for the business
  • Oversee and manage the business’ day-to-day communications and marketing tactics
  • Closely collaborate and coordinate with the North America Communications Marketing team and Field Operations to ensure the highest impact of marketing campaigns, and effective management of unanticipated developments
  • Provide executive communications support, including presentations, key messages, speeches, and other materials
  • Oversee production and delivery of editorial assets to various audiences (customers, distribution partners, media, etc.) through multiple communications paid and earned channels (media, web, etc.)
  • Uphold standards for quality production
  • Manage and influence direct and indirect resources to ensure achievement of business objectives
  • Conduct regular status meetings with internal stakeholders to listen, learn, and adjust
Requirements, Skills & Attributes
  • Bachelor Degree required – Communications or Marketing major preferred 
  • 6+ years of experience in a marketing or communication role, insurance industry experience preferred 
  • Skilled in working with communications and general software and platforms including MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, e-marketing technology, social media applications, video, etc.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on establishing and meeting deadlines  
  • Experience leveraging and measuring digital marketing campaigns as an integral part of the overall marketing communications strategy
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
