-          Underwrite large collections, with a focus on jewelry

-          Act as a subject matter resource to underwriters, agents and brokers involving questions on collecting trends, valuations, transit, storage, and security

-          Support strategic initiatives to build out the collections practice and segmented client services

-          Monitor industry trends and provide relevant market updates to underwriting, sales & distribution teams

-          Engage with key clients, prospects, and centers of influence in the collections community

-          Develop strategic relationships with industry experts, with a particular emphasis on the jewelry industry

-          Promote collector services to agents, brokers, and centers of influence

-          Develop and update marketing materials related to collections insurance

-          Assist with creating and delivering training programs and continuing education courses on the collections industry and risk management to underwriters, agents, brokers

-          Partner with field marketing staff in the development and execution of collections related events for brokers and lead sources

-          Participate in key industry and marketing events, brand Chubb as a specialty market

Desired knowledge, skills and abilities: 

The ideal candidate should have experience underwriting jewelry and collectibles, as well as a relevant certification or professional training related to the jewelry industry. The position will support the Collections Manager in retention of key accounts, risk assessment, and management of profitability of the Valuables book of business. The job will require knowledge of Valuables classes, exposures, valuations, and the way in which jewelry and collections are transacted as a business.

This position can be based in New York City and Whitehouse Station, NJ
