Assistant Producer/Editor
Chubb Corporate Communications

Summary and Scope

The assistant producer/editor will use an extensive skill set to contribute to the numerous creative, organizational, and technical aspects of video production at Chubb. This position reports to the Vice President, Creative Services Manager, and is a member of Chubb's Corporate Communications team. 

Responsibilities:

- Production planning: budgeting, scheduling, coordinating technical crew and professional talent, and securing locations.
- Operate broadcast video cameras for marketing videos, meetings and webcasts.
- Complete rough and final editing of meetings and documentary projects with Premiere Pro edit systems.
- Develop animated graphics for a variety of media outlets.
- Coordinate post production elements including graphics, stock footage, music, web posting, etc.
- Provide ongoing production feedback to corporate marketing personnel.
- Manage department budget within corporate financial systems.
- Arrange for and manage the technical set-up of live corporate events.
- Collaborate with other Corporate Communications team members.

Requirements, Skills and Attributes:

- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Media Productions, Communications, or related field
- 3-6 years of video production experience
- Video production management and organizational skills
- Experience with operation of video production and display equipment
- Needs to have a mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
- Operational knowledge of Powerpoint, word and Excel
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Commitment to proactive customer service
- Demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment
- Should have an understand of Financial Services industry
- Must be comfortable working in a matrixed organization
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
